How to use the Pano mode in the Olympus Cameras

After you have entered the Panorama Mode with the camera you will see in the viewfinder a blue rectangles on each side and a blue line in the center.

We will call the rectangle on the Left BOX A and the rectangle on the right BOX B. As you view your shot key on an item, tree, cloud, car something that will stay in the shot in the BOX B on the left of the viewfinder. In this case it is a mailbox and post.

Now take the shot.

Now keeping the camera very level (a tripod is best) turn to the right for the next shot.

The item you keyed on (the mailbox and post in the first shot) should now be placed in BOX A.

While keeping the item in BOX A, the mailbox and post. Look in BOX B and see what item to key on for the next shot.

Now take shot number 2.

Now keeping the camera very level (a tripod is best) turn to the right for the next shot.

The item you keyed on (the mailbox and post in the first shot) should now be placed in BOX A.

While keeping the item in BOX A, the mailbox and post. Look in BOX B and see what item to key on for the next shot.

Now take shot number 2.
Now again holding the camera very level turn to the right until the key item, the car tire, is in BOX A for the third shot.

Take the shot, thats it. You just took a 3 shot pano.

Take the camera out of pano mode and take a bunch more picture to share on the forum.

When you get home there are many way to stitch the shot together.

Now again holding the camera very level turn to the right until the key item, the car tire, is in BOX A for the third shot.

Take the shot, thats it. You just took a 3 shot pano.

Take the camera out of pano mode and take a bunch more picture to share on the forum.

When you get home there are many way to stitch the shot together.
