Coyote Run's David Doersch of the group Coyote Run by LucyDavid Doersch is the lead vocal Tenor of Coyote Run. This was taken at the celtic group's Christmas Concert here in Crossville TN, called "A Kilted Christmas". It was a fabulous show and in this shot, David was singing O Holy Night. It's an extremely talented group that I look forward to seeing again. |
Rugby Village Fence Flowers by LucyThis one was taken during a summer visit to the Victorian Village of Rugby, near Crossville, TN. The village was founded as a place for the 'second sons' of England to come and learn trades and start new lives here in America. The homes have been preserved and were designed in the English traditions. Even new homes that are built these days follow the old traditional home styles. It's a hidden treasure in the mountains of eastern Tennessee. A must-see place to visit. |
Summer by WhyNotA summer day on the Tennessee River. We went to a park in Scottsboro, AL and saw these boys diving off the end of the pier. Just a shot of opportunity but it was a nice warm summer afternoon.

Stearman Pilot by CCMy "adopted son" Denis piloting the Stearman over the Detroit River. Taken blind as I am harnessed in. Turn the camera around, point and hope. Though the sepia treatment would give it the look of the early days of aviation.

Jackie flies a Pitts Special and performs at many air shows. I met her at our Windsor Air Show and she now uses this picture for her profile and at her booth at various cities. Jackie will be flying at Dubai in January and her Pitts is on a container ship heading there now.. Jackie will also be performing again in Windsor.

The Proud American by Digirame
Information: This photo was taken on August 30, 2009 at our air show in Hillsboro, Oregon. I was happy that I captured this one within the frame when the plane was going by at high speed, so there was no cropping required. The lens and main settings used: Zuiko 70-300mm lens, ISO800, F9, 1/1600, and 215mm focal length |
The Blue Grotto by Waynecam This shot was taken at a local swimming hole called Hamilton Pool.
It is essentially a collapsed grotto with a waterfall feeding the pool. I had taken several of the waterfall from different angles when I decided to descend the stairs and walk behind the waterfall to see if I could get a different shot. What you see is the result. I had a tough time with the falling water splashing mist everywhere including on my lens. I have named this shot, "The Blue Grotto".

Out On A Limb by rt22306Taken June 27, at Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge, near Cambridge, MD with my Pentax K10D, and Sigma 135-400mm lens. This juvenile bald eagle had apparently gotten away from its nest (also in the picture) and seemed unable to get back into it.

Viceroy and Thistle by rt22306Taken August 23 at Huntley Meadows Park, Fairfax County, VA. This was with my Oly E-620 and 75-300mm lens, and I believe using the Pop Art Filter.

Blue On Blue by Bill HuberInfo: I don't get to take shots of mountains much, we just don't have that many here in Texas so when I got the chance I went nuts.
This was taken leaving the Grand Tetons National Park on my trip to Yellowstone this summer.

Fall InTexas by Bil HuberInfo: I really like this one, its the colors that make it for me. Well maybe its the lack of color, there is just really red and brown.
