We have lost another friend from ‘down under’. On July 21st 2009, our friend David King (Kayem) passed away. His wife Pauline and daughter Cath were at his side.
David was always a positive person on OTF. As Okreb pointed out, David was a great source of inspiration and even encouraged him to publish a book of some of his bird images. (Okreb), “The Birds of South Florida” exists in large part due to David’s efforts.”
As Artshot Sue mentioned, one of David’s last picture posts was ‘Trip’s End’, in which he shared his journey through Australia with his stunning photos showing us the “beauty in its diversity.”
David, you have shown us all a beautiful view of a place that many of us will never get to visit. You have taken us on a great virtual trip ‘down under’, through your fine photographs. Thank you David, G’Day mate! Rest in peace. You will be missed.
