In which Sam Valdez and Bud Osterberg attempt to shed a few pounds by climbing Mt. Williamson (14,375 ft., 4,382 m.), and Mt. Tyndall (14,015 ft., 4,272 m.). They're the second and twelfth tallest peaks in California, respectively, situated outside of the town of Independence, about 10 miles north of Mt. Whitney.
