Estas imágenes en color fueron tomadas por un fotógrafo de la revista LIFE entre 1939 y
1940 en Berlín y se perdieron más de 70 años debido a que el fotografo americano desapareció a principios de la guerra, junto con su cámara Roliflex .

Aquí se presentan los originales (que en ese entonces se utilizaron en la producción de
revistas).

La mayoría son de 6 "x 9". Fueron encontrados por una enfermera en un
hospital en Berlín, mismos que los mantuvo guardados durante todos estos años.

Después de la muerte de su hija regreso a la redacción actual que mantiene los derechos de autor de la revista Life y fueron publicadas a principios los años 70 s.

Pese a que han transcurrido más de 70 años las fotos reflejan tal realidad como si estuvieras presente en el momento de los hechos.

These color pictures were taken by a Life photographer between 1939 and
1940 in Berlin and were lost for over 70 years because the American
photographer disappeared at the beginning of the war, along with his
Roliflex camera.

Shown here are the originals (used at that time in the production of
magazines). The majority are 6"x 9". They were found by a nurse in a
Berlin hospital, who kept them put away during all these years.

After her death her daughter returned them to the current editors, who
retain the copyrights to Life Magazine, which has not been published
since the early '70s. Some of these are so vivid for being over 70
years old, and so large that you almost feel as if you're standing there!!!
