Thank you for visiting my gallery and your comments.
Jeff; I have hundreds of Knapps in my Genealogy, as I mentioned to you at the laundromat recently. You can go to: and look at the "FamilySearch" link to look for the Knapp line that has been researched.
I will send you some of my personal links after I return home to Cottage Grove, Oregon.
Good luck, Bill Glazier

I love smokey. I have a cat named smokey too. He is the nicest thing. He is black thouth. Love smokey and hope he/she lives a long life.
I liked your pictures of Smokey! What a photogenic cat Smokey is. I have a Smokey also. She is a small, very soft grey tabby and she talks a lot.
I have a 1964 Tag-A-Long travel trailer probebly 16' to 18'. I am interested in finding out if you have any pictures or restoration, or information on this travel trailer. It is certainly different, it has a triangle shaped door glass window.
Your help would be much appreciated, for any info you can find me.
I liked your gallery. I also have a cat named Smokey. He's a longhaired persian mix. With various shades of gray fur. He's a great cat.
Thank you Jeff for stopping by. Happy Holidays to you . Anne Nguyen
I have a Charles H. Overly sketch of the old Worth church in Boston, I am wondering what the history is of this artist, and if it's worth anything. I got it at an auction for $2.00. Thank you.
I lost my "Smokey" the cat today. I found her resting and I'm having a hard time with it. I hope he's in a better place now. I love you sooo much Smokey. R.I.P. forever
Thank you so much for your info on Charles T Overly.
I love his work!
Long time, my little one is in the yellow top. have not had chance to edit and sequence pics, all shot yesterday.

Thanks for your comment on my Halloween post including Elizabeth Battery. Around Halloween there was a long documentary on the tv about vampires. I found it very interesting. Sooo. I watched it & took notes. And details. Lots of watching, writing, rewinding, more writing. Then I put all my notes together into what you read. That one post gets many hits.
You have some nice photos here. And I see by someone else's comment, you are on KIVA. I am also. What a great way to help someone. I loaned money early this year to 2 people. One was paid back & reloaned. The other should be repaid soon. A nice feeling.
My main blog is listed in my WordPress blogroll as Multiply Blog. I have photos & videos there. The blog you read is a copy of it because it shows up on my FaceBook account.
Thanks for stopping by. Come by again!!!
Take care. Julie-Ann

Jeff, excellent pictures in your gallery. I am from eastern ontario and was wondering if you have any connections to the Knapps of either Battersea or Seeleys Bay areas in Ontario. If so, could you please contact me at easton_Donna@sympatico.ca.

Hey, Site was very interesting for me. I wish you and your site everything best!
like your interest in the old chevys. i am looking at a 1957 pickup that is all original--it has been in the shed on the farm--it is quite rough and needs a lot of repair. could you give me any idea on a price range to pay as is. thanks

Thanks for taking time to respond to my post. I think it is unfortunate that we live in a disposable society, which is becoming a world wide problem. So much money is wasted. It is too bad the ones who abuse the "system" take away from the ones who really need the help.
Hi! Who knows still sites similar to this?

Hi sweetie, like those chili peppers!!
Your site design is very nice. You can now rarely meet something like this on the net.
Thank you for the awesome pictures of Herbie. My 4 year old son admires Herbie SOOOO much, these pictures will make his day and look great on his birthday cake. Is Herbie really for sale??? Thanks again for putting a huge smile on my sons face.
Hi. Beautiful content and website design. Sorry for my english. I am from albania.
I have a Smokey, too. Gray and white but lighter in color. He was very sick at the end of 2005...I was sure he was dying. The vet said he had cardiomyopathy. Guess what? It was the vaccine that made him so deathly ill! I gave him baby Motrin and he snapped out of it. He'll be 16 in July...we celebrate on the 4th with a can of tuna and some good catnip. He lost his litter mate Snowball about five years ago. I have little faith in veterinarians after what my poor kitties have gone through.
Thanx for sharing your pix of Smokey.
Thanks for visiting my gallery. Your collection is fantastic.
I am so sorry for your loss. Take care.
Looked up your site because I have a smokey the cat as well! Top marks, interesting site.
Very good site guys! Good luck!

why are you putting invalid e-mail addresses and marking them private?
Thanks for your kind comments on my galleries.
Best wishes for you and a very happy new year!
Merry Xmas and Happy New Year too Jeff!!!!
How old is Leonard?
IN DON DEY HEREOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Looking for Leonard Piracci ... lost track after Scottsdale/Idaho/FL hurricane
This car lot is in Moyock, NC, just south of the Virginia-North Carolina state line. The '60 Impala was actually bought by one of my customers about 3 weeks ago. This particular car only had about 35K miles on it!!
Part of my sales territory is the Outer Banks of North Carolina and I go by this car lot at least once a week when I head south to see my customers in NC.
Apparently, the owner of the business locates "classics", old Corvettes, muscle cars, etc., and offers them for sale. Recently, he had a 1967 Pontiac GTO for sale, which is one of my favorite "muscle cars".
I do have MS Powerpoint. Sad to say, everyone of the photos in my galleries are mine. I would not say that I am an "artist" but more of a "snapshooter" guy who loves cars, cruise 'ins, and car shows. Sometimes I take the time to crop or enhance my photos and often because of my travel schedule, I simply add a photo to a Pbase gallery without any attempt to crop or enhance the image.
This particular shot was taken during last summer's Beachcombers Corvette Club Car Show in Great Bridge, a community in Chesapeake, VA, not far from where I live in Virginia Beach.
Thanks for your suggestion of "3 wide". It makes viewing the thumbnails much easier without having to scroll back and forth on the screen.
Take care, and thanks for your reply.

Sorry to here about tarina. I used to know her back when she lived in colorado springs. I hung out with her and a girl named Tina. I cant believe this happened even though it happened years ago I feel like it happed today. I shed a tear for my friend Tarina and this site shows the she truly was loved.

We need more men/w like tillman in this world. To believe in a cause much larger than that of material prospect. We have many great leaders in this country, for example Lt.Colonel Scott Rutter, ME-vl-Parsa Mohammadi and Pat TILLMAN, but unfortunately in today's America no one wants to give back to their country. America can be analogized as the banking principle: If you dont put money in, you wont be able to withdraw any funds. We need-and we must invest in this great nation.
God bless you Tillman Your gone but I still can't let you go- Went Sky Diving Yesterday-out of Eastern LI and I thought alot of you- Peace MY BROTHER IN ARMS
Parsa Mohammadi (Hauppauge , NY)
I was looking at my husband's site this morning, and I found a comment that you had written regarding a Von Dutch bike, sorry I do not know anything about it, but I did come across your pictures. As I strolled through the gallery for Tarina I began crying- I send you and your family my deepest sympathies. I love your galleries, and your daughter has touched my heart today-I am sure that she has done that to many people. I hope you have a blessed day.
Really enjoyed your old photo's. The 305 Super Hawk seemed so much bigger back then.
Shed a few tears for Tarina - very very moving gallery; and the same for Pat Tillman - brave bugger just trying to save the kid beside him, according to msn article today on friendly fire (didn't like the slant the author put on it, like it's never happened before and that the Rangers are to blame or something: if "all" friendly fire incidents from Mycenaen pre-Christ times to now were analyzed and disected it would simply come out as 'shit happens' - those troops'll be trained, etc., and the event may prevent '10 other friendly deaths' in the coming months: but it is 'so' too bad it had to be a patriot like Tillman, giving up millions of dollars to go over and pitch-in the ultimate, for his country. I wish they'd name a Pat Tillman Day, for such patriotism, a truly awesome person. And thank you, Jeff, for a great tribute to your daughter Tarina, and to Pat as well. Whoever views your great pictures will feel the same I'm sure. The best to you, in this world.
KEEP IT UP
Come to visit my photo album
Nice to see u again :)
So sorry, last December 12 I had my 1st child at 52yrs. I have been with her everyday since. If something was to happen to her there would be no need for me to go on. I never realized just how special having a child is. Looking at the photos was enough to bring tears to my eyes.
May god be with you and your family.
Thanks for looking at my photos Jeff..Your words are kind...as I look at your site I leave with a sadness in my heart..I have 2 sons 21 & 22..The oldest is in the Air Force..I pray every night for thier well being...Good Luck ..J
I found this site via a Google search for "70's college pictures".
I was deeply touched by the tribute to your daughter and the way in which you shared it on your site. You have my deepest sympathy.
I really enjoy the photos on your site. Thank you so much.
I sure enjoyed your site and thanks. I wanted to say that I am from Southern Oregon and my dad has a large ranch. Our neighbors that borders the South end of the ranch is the Knapp family and they are great folks. Louis (Louie) Knapp originally purchased the Knapp Ranch and Louis was born in the late 1800's and was a very good friend of mine. Louie bought two ranches, one in Port Orford, Oregon (the town that the Knapp Hotel once stood) and one in Langlois, Oregon. Louie turned the ranches over to his nephew (Harold Knapp) because he never married. Louie died in the early 80's in his latter 90's and I attended his funeral. Since Harold Knapp died, his sons (Mike and David Knapp) run the ranches and David has a son named Jeff Knapp. These folks are well respected in our communities and are great freinds of mine. I am sure that you may be related to them and I guess that your site was not asking for input on possible family trees, but from what I read on your site, you sound like you have alot in common with the Knapp friends of mine here in Southern Oregon.
I was very touched by your album of Angel Tarina. If you read the e-mail I sent to you before reading this entry, then this serves as an additional thank you for sharing.
I hope to see your other albums as they look pretty interesting. Take care and God Bless!
Hi Jeff, I enjoyed browsing though your galleries and liked especially the Arizona one. Thx for leaving a comment in my guestbook.
Enjoyed your homeless panhandler photopgraphs, good work.

Thank you for the very nice holiday wishes. I have not been on much due to grad school and work, unfortunately it does not leave me much time for fun. I hope you and your family are enjoying your new year.
Hi Jeff, Thanks for your Christmas regards, same to you.
did you see my christmas picture
Found your site via dpreview.com. Great pictures! And I like the Club name... but maybe I'm a bit biased :)
I checked out your family history... no connection, unless it's very distant. My Knapp ancestors are from the Eastern Ontario, Canada Region, and before that England.
Hi Jeff...The Sony Mavica FD97 is a 2 Megapixel Camera that produces file sizes in the range of 600-800 Kilobytes. All of the pictures in my gallery were resized to load easy. The FD97 has an EXCELLENT 10X optical zoom with an image stabilizer for steady shots. I have taken many satisfying photos with it. Having said that, I am going to attempt to sell the camera, as I have just purchased a new Canon SLR and lenses and I'm not in need of the second camera. It sold new for $899 and I would sell it for $450 with extra battery, charger, and memory stick. (It uses memory sticks as well as floppies). Thanks for you comments on the Gallery. It helps my confidence!!!
Happy new year Jeff!
With more and even better pictures.
Happy New Year Jeff!
A belated Merry Christmas to you. I am afraid I had no access to the internet from the 23rd until today.
Sorry for not being on time with my response but Santa was on the run yesterday. LOL
Thank you for your kind wishes.

Thank you for visiting my gallery and am glad you enjoyed seeing my family at Superstition Springs (railroad pics). I had a family reunion in Phoenix and we came from all over the states like L.A., Chicago, and West Palm Beach FL. I have spent a long time looking through your pics and I especially like the car show pics. Tarina is beautiful too. I'll keep her in my prayers.
Thanks to have spent some time at my gallery.
I'm impressed of your galleries. They are reflecting your life like a mirror,
the nice moments but unfortunatley also the sad moments when fate seems to abondon
us. My deepest sympathies goes out to you and your family for the
loss of your daughter.
Greetings from Luxembourg

Jeff, thanks for your comments on my photos, grubby as the red "blooming" flowers are! I'm looking through Smokey's gallery. He ought to meet our trouble-making fuzzy twirp--Cashel the Overly Enthusiastic Maine Coon. You live in a beautiful state. We were in AZ last fall--Canyon de Chelly, Monument Valley--and had a wonderful time. The sceney is just knock-your-socks off majestic! Best to you, Jackie Lane
Its me again. First I would like to say that Im sorry for your loss. I lost my first wife to cancer in 1999. I was in a very searious vehical collison in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. I remember thinking about my wife and looking at Old Glory that was flying on my truck at the time after the wreck. Your picture of Tarina and Dad gave me chills. A really nice picture under the circumstance. And what a beautiful name Tarina. Thanks for your Stars and Stripes photos again. Keep up the good work. A. Weaver
I love to see Old Glory no matter where she flys. But for you to Put it on Pbase for me to look at is Awsome. Im stationed in Germany and the only time I see her is when I go out my front door and see her in the garden and the one that flys on post that I have to go out of my way to see. Great gallery and God bless
Jeff, I am so sorry to see your loss. It is so weird that last night I dreamed that both of my children [son age 15, and daughter age 12] were killed in an accident. I awoke in a horrible sweat and shake. I hugged and kissed each of them this morning when I saw them and thanked God that they were still save and alive. I hope that you have tons of support, and remember that God has a plan, and he is ALWAYS in charge. I hope the best for you and those left behind with you. ~pj
Thank you Jeff for leaving your kind comment regarding my Desiderata Gallery and happy you liked it.
Looking at your galleries brought tears to my eyes.
Through your grief, may you and yours find the love, comfort, strength and courage you need to seal back together the fragments of your broken hearts.

many thanks for visiting my galleries jeff
the bee you comment on does look like as though
it is hiding in the red hot poker
and I like to think it has boots on also :)
I am most terribly sorry to read of your beautiful daughters tragic accident.
I spent hours looking at all the pictures,
just wishing your pain away
God bless you always
Hi Jeff, Thank you for visiting my gallery and your kind words. You too have some nice coverage for the peace rallys in Phoenix. Also I liked the American flag gallery, it is a good idea... Some people think that you cannot be patriotic and also support the peace effort at the same time. I have a collection of American flags that I started after the 9/11 tragedy. I would like to make a gallery of that collection.
Jeff, my heart goes to you for the loss of your beautiful daughter. I can't imagine what you are going through. I was moved by it. I am sending my deepest condolences to you and your family.
Keep up the good work and please visit again.
Best regards, M. Sami
Thanks for the kind comments on my page. There are so many great pics on pbase, its very encouraging when someone else likes our work.
Your page is very powerful. As a new father I can hardly bring myself to view. You have a great tribute to a great daughter.
Interresting page many great photo, I have allso seen your homepage. Thanks for visit my gallery
You ask where we are camping, well I don´t think you can find it, the name is Gaasevig, and it´s between Haderslev and Aabenraa by sea in Denmark. We are on the same place all the year,Waggon is Hobby 7,50m x 2,50 m(25 feet) and the tent is a german with kitchen allso stand all the year allso in snow. We a 18 feet cabin boot there.
I joned Pbase.com in marts 2003 and have nearly spend my 100MB,many are not keepers but I exchange them when I get some better.I am using Canon 10D and Sigma 15-30,Canon 28-105, Sigma 70-200 and are waiting for the new EX OS 80-400mm.
Thanks for your visiting. Today when I woke up and checking the gallery, I feel so surprise that you leave message to me even we don't know each other and my gallery is all ugly photos. After I visited your gallery, I so envy of your life. In fact, do you know what I typed of my gallery? That's Chinese maybe you can't read it.
Loved the pictures of the old cars. Whenever I see then I get the wants. I sent your link to a few friends that like old cars. Tarina looked like a beautiful sweet young lady. I pray your sorrow will be tempered with the love for others left in your life.
Your site is terrific... Kimocall.
Thanks for the kind comments about the photos on my site. Like your photos, they bring back memories from our holiday in Arizona last summer.
Hi Jeff. Thanks for the nice note on my photo site. I love your antique autos and all the interesting pics. I am into antiques , too. But porcelains, etc. I have a brother-in-law who collects antique bikes. Some 80 or so bye now. Great stuff. Love the pics of your family and the town.
Now I've updated my site with some more Lego. This time it's a Star Wars comic. It took me two days to do it, I think it'll be easier the next time.... if I consider doing anything more. I'm from Sweden and live here as well. My girlfriend is from Pacific Grove and she lives here with me now. It's a lot colder over here, she says, but it's worth it. Of course she longs for California every now and then, but changes can do you good once in a while. Have a great day!
Thank you for the nice compliment. The Wizards game was the first time that I used my camera at an event that was worth capturing. Actually, I feel pretty fortunate to have photos of MJ now that he is retired.
Thanks for the comment. I'll have to come back to check out those cars! (slow connection) Tom
Glad you like my flag shots - thanks! Yesterday was so windy that the flag, staff and all got blown off the holder.
My prayers are with your family.
Nice site! Let's get together!!!!!!!!
You've outdone yourself, Jeff!
Now you're etching your way into the photography industry??!!
Great job with the pics.
