Gary Rackliffe [correct spelling from 1968 yearbook] and his friend Larry Johnston
sitting in Gary's blue 1932 Ford 5 window coupe with 283 Chevy V8 small block with
chrome intake stacks on duel quad four barrel carburetors and chrome valve covers.
The top three photos are the same photo taken at A&W Rootbeer stand in Elk Grove,CA.
Gary also had a 1948 Harley Davidson, royal blue in color with a tank mounted suicide shifter.
Gary, class of 1969, was found murdered in Bakersfield, California during the late 1980's.
This information is provided by his brother Woody Rackliffe. The B&W photos below are from
the 1968 EGHS yearbook. I met Gary's father George at his Aerosalvage airplane recycling
business in south Phoenix during the mid to late 1980's sometime around 1988 there abouts'.
I know for a fact that Paul, Eddie, Jayson and Roger were friends with Gary. Paul had a green,
1957 Chevy. I'm not sure what Eddie had and Roger had a early model pickup truck. I don't have
a period photo for Woody Rackliffe or Phil Manley. I would like to have these if anyone can help.
