I was listing to my local NPR radio station in May 2016 to an interview with Marilu Henner who was a part of the TV sitcom Taxi. She is very talented in the area of Cancer. In her book Changing Normal she has written about how the cancer therapy she recommends, and her husband used and is now using has completely wiped out the illness from his body. A lot of her reasoning is drink lots of water and eat and live on a plant based dietary substance. I think plant based eating is a major factor in cancer prevention. We are looking at the solution, which God has provided but cannot see it. What are the properties of bone that allow it to regenerate completely and marrow creates red cells in the femur for the entire body. Would these properties also allow the bone marrow to grow an antibody to the cancer cell that would allow this antibody to be created with new red cells when they are made to prevent the body for getting cancer? I have been living on a 99% plant based diet since my blood work up last year 2015. I met with Dr. G (cancer) and Dr. E (primary) and I am doing well as time passes. Both Doctors did not tell me to eat plant based. I am, as a choice of my own, that I made for myself, have been living on a plant-based diet, mostly canned and it is working well so far. I will know more when the results of my next annual blood workup in November of this year 2016 are complete with a copy of my 2015 blood workup enclosed. I have noticed someone recently within the past month DX with Leukemia has had absent iron stores one time in each of the two previous years to the DX. I would like to know if there is a way to foretell the existence of the cancer cell based on a blood test for the level of hemoglobin. Could it be recommended how testing in this area for the root cause of cancer cells as they develop into something bad? Is there a test done to locate something NOT there to eliminate cancer before it really gets started?

I went to se the doctor 2/4 and met a man in the office waiting room who was in pain and he needed to see the doctor and he did not have an appointment so I gave him mine. I will go back next month …. God bless him. He will be safe ….

I went to the PSA blood testing facility, had blood drawn and got the results today. My PSA reading is less than 0.1, which is a fantastic result. I had my latest Prostate Cancer Screening in November 2013 and all is clear. You must have a yearly checkup to make sure no cancer is in your body. Dr. Gburek stated at my last visit that anything could happen. The annual checkup is to make sure no new cancers are around anywhere in your body. The PSA test must be asked for on your annual checkup. The PSA test is not routinely done. You must ask.

I just had my second colonoscopy March 27, 2012 and it was clear as a whistle. No polyps were found anywhere within the colon. I had my first colonoscopy about 2005. I am successful at beating prostate cancer. I had prostate surgery by Dr. Gburek. The prostate cancer was completely removed November 11, 2009 and all PSA testing is clear. If you are over 45, you must get a regular PSA blood test annually and a regular colonoscopy every five years for good health. Most insurance companies cover the colonoscopy under well care. Dr. Daniel A. Meline M.D. Gastroenterology and Liver Disease Arizona Digestive Health, P.C. located at 9767 N. 91 Street, Suite 100. Scottsdale, Arizona 85258 did the surgery. I met with Dr. Gburek on Monday November 28th for my forth PSA evaluation for 2011 and he said the number is undetectable. I had a blood work screening and the results came in today and everything is normal. The cancer is gone from my body and Dr Gburek believes it is definitely behind me now. It is possible for me to contract other types of Cancer and the chances are the same as anyone else. This Cancer is behind me now. Thank you Lord..........

I met with Dr. Gburek on Monday August 27 for my third PSA evaluation and he said the number was undetectable. The cancer is gone from my body and Dr Gburek believes it is definitely behind me now. Thank you Lord.

Dr Gburek did my prostate cancer surgery using robotic surgery and he did a wonderful job. My surgery was done on 11/11/09. I just had my first follow-up PSA testing on February 22, 2010. The results were completely clear and non detectable. Fantastic news for me. I will keep you updated as time passes. Follow up PSA tests every 3 months for 2 years.

I am 54.I had no knowledge of this at all.Despite several of my colleagues having died of various cancers in recent years,all were over 52,it's just something that's not discussed amongst men.Thanks for posting.

Prostate cancer affected eighteen percent of American men and caused death in three percent in 2005. (from Jeff Knapp) There are no known early symptoms. The cure may work and be more effective if found early. In my case increased urination was a sign of something not being right. This is most often not heeded by the average male. A high PSA level is another sign of the onset of prostate cancer. PSA reading should be 0.2 or lower. My PSA reading was 5.4 and then 7.2 and the average male is unaware of this and what it means. The average male is unaware of what may be involved and does not want to possibly loose the function and ability to have an erection. Following my surgery this function will be lost for approximately 1 year. Bladder control is also partially lost. -----------------------

From Wikipedia and Jeff Knapp. In patients who undergo treatment, the most important clinical prognostic indicators of disease outcome are stage, pre-therapy PSA level and Gleason score. In general, the higher the grade and the stage, the poorer the prognosis for recovery and in my opinion the less likelihood for the possibility of a cure. Cure is what you are looking for. Therapy will get you through it and is best if the disease has moved beyond being localized in the prostate. During my 1 year of research I came to understand that, (in my opinion), most likely a maximum of 10 to 12 years remain in a mans life once the disease has been diagnosed and no treatment is followed. Prostate cancer develops most frequently in men over fifty. In my opinion 50 - 52 is the golden age for prostate cancer to start materializing although it can start earlier. This cancer can occur only in men, as the prostate is exclusively of the male reproductive tract. It is the most common type of cancer in men in the United States, where it is responsible for more male deaths than any other cancer, except lung cancer. Multiple retrospective analyses have demonstrated that overall survival and disease free survival outcomes are similar between radical prostatectomy, external beam radiation therapy, and brachytherapy. Rates for impotence when comparing radiation to nerve-sparing surgery are similar. Radiation has lower rates of incontinence compared with surgery, but has higher rates of occasional mild rectal bleeding. Men who have undergone external beam radiation therapy may have a slightly higher risk of later developing colon cancer and bladder cancer. It is my opinion to get it out of the body is the best route to take. ---------------------------------
