At 6 o'clock in the evening with sunset this new (Tsunami)boat was taking off for night fishing.
Taking off into the breaking waves is always very sensational, they have to avoid that the boat turns lateral or the breaking waves would capsize the boat.
Mostly night fishing is done for the Kingfish highly in demand, one of the most tasteful fish, you should try once if you pass here in the local restaurants like Moonrakers but better order there in the morning to purchase fresh caught one.

For the kingfish they use a fine-meshed net, just the size of the head of the fish, and the net has a length of 1,5 Km hanging on floats down in the water for about 2 meters only. A risky job at night safeguarding this net as a lot of big trailers from Chennai can cut such a net easily in two.
At only an a few places in the sea they find the Kingfish, depending on the rocky underwater environment prefered by this fish.

So after this fishermen initiation, you can go for it at night, I did once in Devaneri, they put out the net, eat a bit, I skipped that one, and go to sleep at sea till sunrise and then the real work begins, getting in the net and hoping for a good catch, tension rises at top.
