Standing in the breakers of the waves, jumping up or diving under, yes that's fun ...

No, I won't do that anymore in Kerala as the waves can be so strong there that they smash you down to the bottom.

Not many Indians know to swim, of course fishermen know, but swimming here can be treasonable as there are a lot of undercurrents sometimes pulling you far into the sea and if you realy have bad luck you can be hit by poisened fish and all your muscles get in to contraction.

So take care, be aware.
