Handy craft

Mahabalipuram or Mamallapuram became a too touristic town with the years not so well organised but still having some nice atmosphere. The government is trying to bring some better infrastructure to up value this small archeologic site as a visiting-card towards highly political guest of Chennai. Let's hope that not all the rural charm will be chased away.
Nowadays the citizens and a lot of Kasjmirian business-man try to gain their living with all those small shops of handy-craft, stone-carved statues, silk and dresses you name it, you can find here almost anything that is made in India for the tourist. Also the varity of hotels and restaurants still can satisfy the traveller on low budget as well as established old wealthy people.
Making here some general overview of this place, as soon I will leave for Madurai, I couldn't forget the handy-craft so much present all over this small town.
This man started up a painting on silk of Ganesh, the God of good-luck.
