The light = 50% knowing (and 50% ignorance)
The darkness = 50% ignorance (and 50% knowing)

True choice can only be made when one seeks to see, hear and understand all the available options. Without such an understanding, one can end up choosing something that looks like the light and end up falling into the darkness. Or one can fall into the darkness, without ever truly seeing or knowing the light.

A Paradox
Evil may be created by blindly following the light (knowledge). And/or good may be created through a recognition and an awareness of the darkness.
With the proper understanding (balance and perspective), true Light can be created through rightful action (participation in that which is good) and through civil disobedience (non-participation, or a refusal to participate in that which is evil).

Jesus said, "Have you found the beginning, then, that you are looking for the end? You see, the end will be where the beginning is. Congratulations to the one who stands at the beginning: that one will know the end and not taste death."
Saying #22: Jesus said, "When you make the two into one, and when you make the inner like the outer and the outer like the inner, and the upper like the lower, and when you make male and female into a single one, so that the male will not be male nor the female be female, when you make eyes in place of an eye, a hand in place of a hand, a foot in place of a foot, an image in place of an image, then you will enter [the kingdom]."
What the heck does that mean? Hint: It is not a reference to transhumanism, transgenderism or some type of ancient social engineering. It is about understanding and knowing -- the inner and the outer, the above and the below, and the male and the female. And it's about creating synergy from that understanding (instead of creating a continuous warring between the polarities from mis-understandings).
Men still remain men. And women still remain women. That doesn't change. Rather, it is the male (masculine) and the female (feminine) components within each of us that become synergetic. This helps us to create full-sight/full-strength complete beings (inside and outside) instead of half-blind/half-strength in-complete beings. It is through this understanding that inner and outer peace is realized.
When you fashion eyes in place of an eye (i.e. a different pair of glasses, or a new way of
seeing), a hand in place of a hand (i.e. a different set of tools, or new way of
building), a foot in place of a foot (i.e. a different pair of shoes, or a new way of
traveling) and a image in place of an image (i.e. a different type of likeness, or a new way of
understanding), then you will enter the Kingdom. It is through this understanding that the inner and the outer "Kingdom" is realized.

There is light within the darkness, and there is darkness within the light. The
one, helps the other
one to
see and
hear things more
clearly (together as
One). If
one does not see or hear the other
one, then
one will begin to over-shadow the other
one. As the blindness and imbalance of
one grows, a war (or auto-immune disease) with the other
one becomes a possibility (or a probability).

As you attempt to bring truth, awareness and understanding into the world, others will try to roll over you. Don't lay down. But also choose your battles intelligently, and spend your energy wisely.
Earth is a Prison/University and the
Human Race are its Inmates/Students
Remaining too close to the center often inhibits growth. However, straying too far from the center (and
remaining there) can result in blindness and a corruption of creation (and Creation).
Or, in other words...
Being artificially corralled or "pegged" into highly polarized positions, contributes to division and warring. To stand up for a position (while being open to alternatives and constructive debate), helps to contribute to awareness, learning, understanding and growth (minus the
manufactured division).

Two to One
Saying # 16: Jesus said, "Perhaps people think that I have come to cast peace upon the world. They do not know that I have I come to cast conflicts upon the earth: fire, sword, war.
For there will be
five in a house: there'll be
three against two and
two against three, father against son and son against father, and they will stand alone."
Words spoken with "Light" (Truth) will cause internal and external struggles in the world, for they will challenge all that we believe to be right and true (based on our pre-conditioned minds and our programmed belief systems). Some people will be able to properly discern and handle the truth as it arrives, while others will not be able to. This will cause conflicts in people, in families, in societies, in politics and in religion.
It is from the internal/external wars, that peace will eventually arrive. Not from manufactured wars, or wars for profit, or wars for power and control. But from the individual struggle that is necessary to become truly aware.
Question: What do you do when the Body, the Mind and the Spirit (three), are in conflict with Love and Will (two)?
Answer: Resolve the conflict. Help Five to See One. Assist Five in seeing and understanding the Synergy that exists between all.
Question: What do you do when programming and conditioning (two), are in conflict with Truth, Awareness and Understanding (three)?
Answer: Resolve the conflict. Recognize PC (programming/conditioning) for what it is: A tool for control and a weapon against awareness.
Question: What do you do when that which is seen and spoken by the church and the state (two), is in conflict with that which is seen and spoken by the Father, the Mother and Child (three)?
Answer: If the church and the state have entered the house unknowingly
or without permission, then perhaps it may be time to show them the door.
Or, if you have given the church and the state permission to stay in the house, and they are creating
havoc in the house, then it
may be time to re-evaluate what their role in your house is. Practice individuality, personal sovereignty, freedom,
morality, self-rule and spirituality, instead of slavery, conformity,
blind
collectivism, control over others and (dogmatic) religion.
Question: What do you do when technology and entertainment (two) begin to over-shadow the Father, the Mother and the Child (three)?
Answer: Find a way to re-connect with nature and the natural (organic) world. Plant a garden. Go to the beach. Go camping. Try
leaving the technology at home.
Question: What do you do when that which is spoken with the Mouth and heard with the Ears (three), does not correspond with that which is seen with the Eyes (two)?
Question: What do you do when that which is seen with the Eyes (two), does not correspond with that which is spoken with the Mouth and heard with the Ears (three)?
Answer: Resist cognitive dissonance and willful ignore-ance. Practice awareness, discernment and acceptance of valid new information. Help to reconcile dissonance by bringing that which is above more in line with that which is below, and that which is below more in line with that which is above.
Question: Why were we given two Ears and two Eyes, but only one Mouth?
Answer: Freedom of expression is important in the creation of freedom. However, the expression of truth, awareness and understanding is necessary for the existence and the continuation of freedom. Seeing and hearing (listening) are what help to create awareness. Talking, on the other hand, can either help to create awareness, or simply add more noise to the world.
Question: What do you do when you have Five Loaves that are in conflict in One House?
Answer: Follow that which Nature teaches us, and try to find a Point of Balance. Or, alternatively, find a couple of fish to go with your five loaves of bread.
Saying #94: Jesus said, "He who seeks will find, and he who knocks will be let in." (In other words, in the apophatic, he who speaks without listening will not find, and he who ignores will not become aware).
Saying #112: Jesus said, "Woe to the flesh that depends on the soul; woe to the soul that depends on the flesh."
Saying #115 (the lost saying): He who loses all religion will have trouble finding wisdom in life (meaning in life); and he who finds wisdom in only religion, will have trouble finding the wisdom of life (the meaning of life). The "meaning in life" is not found in the consumption and the collection of material physical things. And the "meaning of life" is not found in the worship of unseen-non-physical things.

Perfection is not something that is achieved, it is something that is built. Wisdom and understanding are not found at the destination, rather they are realized during the journey.
How can one avoid becoming a moron? The first step in the prevention of moronic behavior is admitting that we have probably been a moron sometime before (in the past), that it's possible that we may be acting like a moron right now (in the present), and that there is a good chance that we may act like a moron again (sometime in the future).
Removing the ox (stubbornness) from the moron (blindness) opens the door for recognition (sight) to occur. Recognition (sight) paves the way for learning (understanding) to occur. And learning (understanding) creates the opportunity for change (growth) to occur.
There is an old (and very wise) saying that goes something like this: Never go grocery shopping when you are barefoot and hungry. Why? Because you might end up buying more food than what you need, or you might end up buying something that you normally wouldn't buy.
I once was blind, but now I can see

The Hierarchy of Ignorance and Awareness
To imprison the Mind, is to imprison the Body and the Spirit. To imprison the Body, is to imprison the Mind and the Spirit. And to Imprison the Spirit, is to imprison the Mind and the Body.
The health of the Body affects the Mind. And the health of the Mind affects the Body. And the health of the Mind and the Body affect the Spirit.
True health is holistic (whole-istic) in Nature.
Jumping into an issue too quickly can often cloud one's judgment and result in a
re-action-ary action. However, taking a step back and taking the time to consider all of the relevant
elements (of the issue) often creates an environment where the issue becomes clearer and the action becomes more evolution-ary (forward moving) than revolution-ary (circular/cyclical).

It was actually US "foreign policy" that helped to create ISIS (on many different levels). Now the fruits of that policy "IS" helping to create domestic policy here in the US (i.e. an increase in the police state and a reduction in freedom in the name of "safety and security").
The US has a long history of funding, training and using rebel forces as pawns in covert operations designed to destabilize foreign countries and help make way for (or preserve) various policies that favor the agendas of the ruling elite. Once a government or country has been sufficiently destabilized through covert operations, new puppet regimes are usually installed that are "sympathetic" to US foreign policy (hegemony and empire building). Sympathetic governments and regimes help to facilitate the flow of money into special interests on many different fronts including arms sales, access to natural resources, economic trade deals, the installment of multi-national corporations, financial loans, the preservation of the petro dollar, etc.

Mechanisms of the Matrix
The "now" does not exist independently of its surroundings. Rather it shares important aspects of the past, the present and the future. In other words, part of "the now" is
pre-sent from the past. And part of the now is in the present, and posted (or sent) to the future. How these different (but connected) elements end up being combined together (in time), is largely up to us.

If we choose to live in our past, then we will likely suffer in the present. However, if we choose to focus on the future, then we will likely suffer in the past (the present moment). If we fail to learn from our past and we are blind to where we are headed in the future, then we will surely suffer in both the present and in the future.
The Future is Not Written in Stone
We are the drivers of our own reality. The past is in the rearview mirror. The present is right here beside us (the steering wheel, the gas pedal, the brakes, the turn signals and the headlights). Out the front window is the future.

There are times when it is appropriate to choose your own road and your own destination. However, there are other times when it may be appropriate to simply let the road take you to where you are going. Both modes of travel have their rightful place in space and time.
Although life itself cannot be easily formula-ized (or formal-ized), it is in fact an experience that is based largely on additions and subtractions. Life is not entirely subjective, nor is it entirely objective. It is a combination of both elements.
It can be frustrating and disturbing to see (and experience) the world as it is today. What is the answer? The answers are of course many...as many as there are
individuals in this world. However, I think that a large part of the answer involves balance. Not manufactured (artificial) balance. But the kind of balance that nature tries to teach to us. For example, in the case of people, the
feminine virtue of
patience is just as important as the
masculine virtues of
courage and
action.
