Hello Bob...
Great image and Gallery here!! About 10 years ago I was on the "highest point and the furthest Dune" at dusk when a major sand storm erupted...Lasted for a good 45 min. Finally, I saw the light of the sun a bit and knew to keep going south...to my left!! My sight was gone!! Sand in my mouth, nose, ears, eyes... you name it!! My camera and lens were shot!!! Took my shirt off to breath through...Then I had to creep back over about 6 sets of dunes to get back to the road!! Obviously my mind, body, trust of the land was gone for quite awhile....
Mother nature can be very unforgiving at times...

Beautiful in its simplicity. You know it doesn't take a megabuck camera to make a spectacular image!
