Ugly but classic - and clearly getting plenty of use in its adopted country. I suppose a person could do worse things than to have a defunct car named after him. "Edsel" does have a certain cachet to it. I mean, supposing his name had been Zebulon or Hezekiah or Throckmorton? Perfectly fine names, of course ... but I'm not sure they'd suit this car in quite the way Edsel does.
All kidding aside, this is a great shot. I like the children in the background as well. They look to be ready for school.

Now that is one ugly car, but it is beautiful at the same time, age has mellowed the rather vulgar design into something more.
ugg I had a nice comment all typed out and lost it. I don't know how I do that but it happens all the time. Now...I try again! I just said...See, even the ugliest of things get better looking the longer you see them. I don't find this Red Edsel ugly at all! I'd take it home if I could. :o)
