When viewed as a thumbnail it looks like it depicts three fighter jets -- or some other type of aircraft flying in parallel. This is a really inspired image, very pleasing to look at, great composition. A real winner.
PS. I like the blue version. I don't think BW would look as good.

Think B&W would make for a good shot, but I really think that the blue background offsets the silver in such a dramatic fashion that B&W wouldn't do equal justice....I guess you'll never know until you give it a go!

What would you think about a bw version of this ? Just to make it even more abstract ? Idunno. The more i think of it, the more it grows on me... Your input ?

Love this....I spent ages trying to think of things when you first gave the theme ''Three'', it really goes to show that you don't have to go far to find something, and with a little creativity you can produce such an inspiring shot. I love the simplicity of this picture, just jealous that I didn't think of it myself!

Very nice. I too like the illusion but I first saw streams of light coming through 3 small windows or holes. Dynamic shot Marc.

I love the optical illusion created here Marc. When I first popped this shot open I thought it was 3 lumps of coal with searing hot trails (like a comet) flowing behind them.
