I love the silvery look to this and that terrific, angular tree. Katherine

Thanks Marc and Charlie. I like your description Charlie - the tree has fallen towards the camera some years ago, and growing sideways. The 7mm adds to the menace, but as you say, the background is calm. I will get it printed - I virtually never print stuff, but intrigued to see how this would look...

Very strong composition, very graphic subject, and the bw conversion adds to the dramatic feeling. I like it a lot !

Great balance to this shot. You combined both the frantic movement of the tree and the calmness of the water and foreground. I love the silvery blue coolness of the tones. I hope you printed this Bruce......a computer just does not do justice here.

Thanks all. Yes Woody, I'll be claiming damages with all this stooping : ) I think I lost my external flash socket cover around here somewhere too...

Love this shot. It has quite a moody feeling to it. Great job Bruce.

WOW, I love this on so many levels. I would say it is perfect, and at 7mm your knees probably got wet. ---Woody

Almost B&W. Very nice!

Thanks Brent and Shirley. It does look frosty, but that's come from the PP. I've put the colour version in Originals. I desaturated fuly in RAW, then colourized slightly in PS Hue and Saturation. Then did a tiny bit of Shadows and Highlights which gave this final effect. I prefer it to the colour version,

This is beautiful, I would say one of your best. Print this one! The frost or light snow made this just amazing!
