That's a shame Jono. Maybe they've given up farming and installing scarecrow installations in art galleries : )

Hi Brent
the landscape designer deserves nothing - it's the dog (who INISISTS on going out every day, and the farmer's wife, who makes these fantastic scarecrows. This one however, is just a little pile of straw in a corner (I saw it today).
Tragic really!
best wishes jono

Wow - the black thingee looks like the departure of his soul. You really need to thank the landscape designer for the perfect dynamic clouds. Awesome shot!

Thanks all.
Bruce, it's rather a tragedy - there have been scarecrows for 20 years - last year I gave him a book of photos - this year . . . no scarecrows - and he seemed so pleased with the book. :-( Nobody else makes them the same. this might even be the last shot
best wishes

Ah, Robert Capa's "Death of a Loyalist Militiaman" re-enacted by a scarecrow! Stunning Jono.

This shot is just awesome Jono, the scarecrow has so much life for something that in reality has none.
