So you are hiking for 45 minutes out in the woods and come across where someone has dumped their tires. How did they get them way out here? Why?

You'd need big pockets Richard!

Well done, Brent. To me they look like wreaths to the greater glory of visitors long gone.

great treatment of an ugly scene. I just never could understand why people do this. I was taught to pocket my trash until I found a trash can an never forgot it.

It seems they'd done it before and brought more over the years. Or is was a 6 wheel dump truck. As Montse said, you've photographed them in such a way that they look like art instead of the garbage that they really are. I love the little plants growing off the tires, like nature is trying to devour them.

Very strange, I can never understand why folk dump stuff in such out of the way places

Yes this is incredible, once we saw a wash machine in the middle of a wood, far from everywhere...
Although the subject is so ugly, you achieved a very nice composition, with a great graphic quality.
