Really excellent, Brenda. I see the petrified splash of a molten meteoroid as it hit the ocean. Of course, your explanation might still be right, .. ;-)

Good one Brenda.
I guess that dino died of exploding ice in his bones .

Thanks for the wonderful feedback! Yes, it is mineralized - mostly agate. But it is a slice of fossil dinosaur bone, Cretaceous in age. You can still see the cellular structures in this slice. The lighter intrusions are probably silica of another type, and would have formed later on.

I love this one. Same association as Brent. It reminds me on the hand. It is some mineral I presume.

I'm guessing a minneral/rock that's been sliced open to show it's prize.

Great colours and contrasting shapes
I have no idea what it is though!

Almost looks like a blue hand reaching thru a river of orange. The contrasting patterns and shapes combined with the contrasting color really packs a lot of energy. Good stuff!

Ewww Lovely stuff Brenda! It does look very much like a mosaic! The rust color is a great way to set off the splash of blue and white. This was a great find. I have no idea what it really is but the patterns and colors really work! I like the composition too!
