Wonderful image. I didn't even look at this properly until the voting, but now it's my favourite of the lot. Great light.

The light on the leaf is terrific, and it's so clearly defined. The chains hold it prisoner for now, until a stronger wind comes along. A bold image and the B&W is the perfect treatment. Really nice!!

Thank you all! I saw this leaf stuck in the construction sites fence and thought "oops, guess that little guy had a change in flight plans" and then remembered the theme! The decision to go b&w came later.

Very good eye and excellent B&W conversion. Every element in this photo is placed where it's needed and as it's needed. endika.

Great shot! With the title & theme, it made me think of the leaf's journey to get there...

This is a stunning picture. Great conversion to b&w.

Simple, elegant, and a great take on the theme!

Shirley, I love the way the leaf is highlighted with the delicate veins. A very nice picture.

Shirley, Great B&W , I would have said a change in the wind :)

Great stuff, you only needed one leaf stuck in the fence to convey the change of season.

this is more than just a simple leaf. the strong Black with the beautifully lit leaf and essentially nothing else in view invokes ideas of change. the BW is change as is the life of the seasons Very well seen Shirley

Love the image. I'm afraid the theme is lost on me, but still nice to see a good image.

Another great use of B+W. I'm going to have to do more...
