Message from Olof
Hello everyone, welcome at my Pbase page
For those who are interested, here's a little info about me.
My name is Olof Wessels, I'm a professional photographer from the Netherlands.
I studied photgraphy at the Royal acadamy of fine arts in the Hague and got my bachelors in 1991.
From 1992 to 1999 I worked as a photographer for a studio in Beverwijk(Holland)mainly shooting portraits, fashion, weddings, some advertisement and some editorial.
In 1999 I went solo as a freelancer, working for modelagencies, doing weddings, portraits and a lot of business to business photography.
2004 was a year of disaster, doctors found out that I had catharact on both eyes and I had to stop my photography to have surchery (on both eyes)
Halfway 2005 I was able to pick up my photography as a freelancer again and starting on 1 oktober this year I'm going to be a freelance photography teacher at The Fotofactory in Amsterdam.
