Upper Boy Scout Lake (Oct 2005)

This was one of the hikes that might be considered unsuccessful. It was to lake in the season for the Mountaineers route as it was already covered with fresh snow. Ron had severe altitude problems and had problems holding food and liquids, and Moritz was constantly complaining why I had made him to do this hike. We never made it to a summit and in the end the weather turned bad. But the evening and morning light at Upper Boy Scout Lake was the final straw to start looking at a digital SLR.
