Solo ski trip above Lake Sabrina. I started the hike in the evening to get to Blue Lake (~10,400ft) at dusk. The next morning I continued to Emerald Lakes (10,500ft) where I could finally put on skis and skins. Then Topsy Turvy Lake (10,800ft) and Moonlight Lake (11,050ft). As the last flowing water was around Sailor Lake I backtracked and camped there. On the third morning I climbed Mt Wallace (13,377ft) and skied back to my camp. Next day back to Lake Sabrina. |
Solo Skitour von Lake Sabrina. Ich begann die Wanderung am Abend und erreichte Blue Lake (~3170m) in der Dämmerung. Am nächsten Morgen ging's weiter zu den Emerald Lakes (3200m) wo ich endlich Ski und Felle anlegen konnte. Dann Topsy Turvy Lake (~3300m) und Moonlight Lake (3370m). Da das letzte fließende Wasser bei Sailor Lake war kehrte ich dorthin zurueck und machte dort mein Lager. Am zweiten Morgen bestieg ich Mt Wallace (4077m) und fuhr mit den skiern zurück zum Zelt. Am nächsten Tag ging's zurück zu Lake Sabrina. |
