On February 13, 2005, Clyde Blum, Carol Fegarido and I found 3 Iceland Gulls, 2 Thayer's Gulls and 2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls resting in one field, making for the second best Gull Day I've ever had in TN. The best day being, Ivory, California and Thayer's at Pickwick Dam in 1996. We started the weekend on Saturday in Tunica Co. MS with a Ferruginous Hawk and thought it could not get much better when we found this ICE STORM. The weekend was cloudy, rainy, the wind howled and these photos were taken in those condition at about 150 yards. We were joined by Nancy Moore and Betty Samara and partied till all the gulls left for the roost promptly at 5 PM.
