This morning I found the bird feeding but at 7:30 it suddenly took flight and I thought it was going to leave. It made two ever widening circles but soon settled back down farther back and in with some ducks. I've noticed the larger shorebirds such as Avocet, Godwits and Whimbrel will travel with ducks and often I run up on them settled in with them as they rest.
