Prairie Rattlesnake

Alfalfa County, Oklahoma

Was found in the middle of the intersection of Highways 11 & 64, north of Cherokee. This is the furthest east I have found this species in Oklahoma.

Jim, This is a superb shot, and I would love to have one like it in my files. I love the low angle, makes me feel like I am a part of this guy's world. The action is perfect - nice going!!
