Here are the photos of the shortday my cousin Mike and I spent on Isla de Mujere, Mexico 2-2007. What a beautiful tiny little island so colorful and full of life. I took so many pictures, I love this little island. A photographer heaven for me. Unfortunately, I was busy taking so many pictures that I did really get to spend the time enjoying the beauty of the place although I did capture it on digital. I definately, plan on visiting again next year. This was one of my favorite places. Most of my pictures are from my walk around the little shopping village and from riding on a gulf cart around the island. I really wish we had more time there. We were suppose to go snorkeling there but water was very choppy and it was a very windy day as you will see in some of the pictures.
Here is a little info. on Isla de Mujeres (the Island of Women). It is 5 1/2 miles long and 8 miles from Cancun Bay. Isla Mujeres is a fishing village with small homes, stores and restaurant tucked into the shopping village. click here for info on Isla de mujeres.
