Hey, y'all, I'm in New Orleans, and my unit re-enacts Lafitte's gunners. I've not really come across too many sources that describe their clothing, or hats in particular. Hot as hell, so my guess is that straw would Not be out of place. Thoughts?

Looking for a naval cocked hat of the War of 1812 era. Any suggestions where I should start looking? I have gone to all the living history suppliers I know of.
