Portfolio

These images have been taken due to the inspiration of my husband, Michael, my favorite photographer (!) and our beautiful surroundings in the Pacific Northwest, where we have lived for over six years now.

My "eye" tends to focus not primarily on the "big picture", but on a small slice of the whole. I love textures and patterns and vivid contrasts, and capturing them in a way so that you may not even recognize the subject. I also love adding filters to my shots, in order to give a certain feeling of classic softness, dreaminess or nostalgia.

I love photography also because it challenges me to see The Almighty's Artwork, and to learn more of His attributes displayed throughout His Creation.

I hope you enjoy these shots, and I look forward to learning more from viewing your work. Thank you for looking, commenting and critiquing.

Observation, Consideration, Meditation- May your hearts be stirred to Worship, not nature itself, but the Almighty Artist!
