Hi! I'm a girl from Norway, and I wondered if I might be permitted to use your beautiful dog photos in a website www.minstall.no ? Its a website where you can be a member, and " create your own stable ". You create animals, and put pictures on the animals. Just a game ; ) For more info, you can take a look on; www.minstall.no <-- Norwegian or www.mydreamstable.com <-- English.
I promise to use the photos with respect, and I can write on every animal that you have taken the picture! + link to your website! I love your photos! They are beautiful!

Sincerely Martine Olsen :) ( Please answer on e-mail ; funtiigo@hotmail.com

( I'm from norway, so I'm not that good in English. Sorry if there is a lot of typos ) ;-)

Hi Kim,

My name is david earle. I am a Seattle-based woodturner. I make salad bowls, boxes, spinning tops, and other round things out of salvaged trees. Madrona is my very favorite tree, and possibly favorite wood to work with as well. I did an image search for pictures of madrona trees, and came across your wonderful foto of peeling green and red brown bark. (titled madrona tree bark).
Currently, I'm designing a new, more professional web page for my work. My old one is a bit lame - and I thought that photo would be very appropriate as a background image. I'm not particularly wealthy, as I've just been getting started out, but if you were interested, I might be able to trade one of my smaller turnings for the use of that photo. At the very least, I would be happy to put a photo credit on the bottom of the page. If you're interested in seeing some of my work, my old web page is at www.davidturnswood.com

Thanks for your consideration. :)

Thanks for your comments. You have a great variety of galleries. I agree that it's important to preserve the working abilities in the Northern breeds. Good luck with your scooter.

Kim,
Also welcome to PBase and thanks for the kind words about my paintings. One of the reasons for photography for me is to gather reference material for future paintings.
As David said you do have an eye for detail. Keep up the good work.
