Why do I sense oldishness in this picture - as if it was of/by a child/a photographer from two generations ago?
The photograpger's control of the technique is commendable, but the resulting photo induces some sadness - is this what the photographer had in mind when making the picture?!...

I can identify with what 'Dan the man' wrote in hus previous comment, but the (too - ?)high key of the face makes me think twice whether I can fully like this picture.
