Rosie crossed the rainbow bridge on July 21, 2007. She will be greatly missed by me and her foster mom, Barb Merritt. Rosie was simply the best. She handled having her nails trimmed, her ears cleaned and her teeth brushed with grace and dignity. Rosie was known around my small town as “Nosey Rosie” because on all of our walks she would have to stop and say hello to EVERYONE! I also called her Rosie the Rock Star because so many people stopped to pet her or would step out of their homes to tell her how beautiful she was as we were cruising by-ears flapping, tail wagging. She absolutely loved going for car rides. I would drive her around the country and go out of my way to pick up a pizza just so she could ride longer. Her favorite thing to do was walk. As soon as I would ask her “do you want to go for a walk” she would tilt her head and prance to the door. She was so excited she could hardly hold still enough for me to get her leash on. We walked at least 3x a day, every day, rain, shine or snow. She changed my life forever and I am grateful for every single day she was with me. I love you Rosie-thank you for being the light of my life this past year. I will never forget you. Kristy
