Esmeralda who was also known as Ezzie was our first basset. We got her from a backyard breeder before we knew about rescue. Ezzie was the reason we became a part of Ohio Basset Rescue. She grew up with my daughter. I had always wanted a basset hound and then came Ezzie. We had no idea how this wonderful girl would change our lives. Ezzie went to the bridge suddenly and without warning at the young age of 7. I had no idea how one hound could change your life. Ezzie and I will be buried together. We love and miss you Ezzie. We will see you at the bridge.
