Pinzel Sculpture Museum
the museum is housed in the former Poor Clares Church
the ceiling includes a sculpted leg and foot projecting from the arched painting
Jan Pinzel (Ivan Pinsel) lived in the 18th c.; little else is known about his life
he created figures for the large St. George cathedral in Lviv
the altar for the village church of Hodovytsya, near Lviv, is considered his greatest work
Mykola Potocki, a Kanev hetman (and bad man) and patron of PInzel at Hodovytsya
