The Elegance at Hershey: The Entire Field -- June 2012

The Elegance at Hershey was held for the second time on the grounds of the Hotel Hershey on June 10, 2012. It was founded and launched in 2011 by car collector John W. Rich, Sr., who unfortunately passed away late last year. I am starting this gallery with photos of one of his fabulous cars, a 1938 Delage D8-1205 Aerosport by Letourneur et Marchand. It was on the show field "for exhibit only" and not as a contestant.

The rest of the images here show all the cars that were entered in this spectacular two-year-old concours in Pennsylvania. The extremely high quality of the automobiles in this year's show, as well as in last year's, inspires confidence that The Elegance at Hershey is here to stay as a major automotive event. Among the many distinguished attendees in 2012 were Bill Warner, founder and chairman of the Amelia Island Concours, and Sandra Button, chairman of the Pebble Beach Concours.
