Petersen Automotive Museum -- Hollywood Gallery, August 2010

Car enthusiasts hoping to see cars that once belonged to movie stars or that appeared in the movies or on television won't be disappointed after a trip to the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. Return visits usually offer some new vehicular artifacts that guests had not seen before because the museum's Hollywood Gallery is often in a state of flux, with cars on display changing from time to time.

This gallery is the third of five on my 2010 visits. It features the Hollywood cars that were exhibited in August. Some of the historically colorful cars here are from the Margie and Robert E. Petersen Collection, which is distinct from the museum's collection. For more information about the exhibit, click on this link: http://www.petersen.org .

I shot the photos in this gallery with a handheld Nikon D300 and a Nikkor 18-200mm VR zoom. All are as-is, straight from the camera, with no post-processing. Note that the images and other content here are protected by copyright laws. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized use, copying, printing or direct linking is prohibited.

THE PICTURES HERE CAN ALSO BE VIEWED AS A SELF-ADVANCING SLIDESHOW, BUT MINUS THE TECHNICAL AND OTHER DETAILS. SEE THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER OF THIS WINDOW. HAPPY VIEWING! <<<
