Since 1980, the Porsche Club of America has dedicated one weekend each year (in Pennsylvania and California) to the presentation of technical information on Porsches ranging from the classics to the latest models. The 2017 event for the Eastern United States and Canada was held on Feb. 18 and 19 in Easton, PA, with attendance limited to 125 PCA members per day. The venue was the Northeast Regional Support Center of Porsche Cars North America. This facility serves as a training center for Porsche dealers' mechanics and sales personnel. It also houses PCNA's parts and accessories warehouse for the northeastern United States and Canada.

Among the topics covered by this year's Tech Tactics were "The Connected Car -- Strategy and Technology," "The 2017 718 Cayman," the restoration of classic Porsches, "Market Trends," "Getting Your Photography Published," "The Second Generation Panamera," "Braking Basics," "Braking Technology," "Inside Porsche."
