PCA-CHS 2017 Tour No. 6 -- Horse Country Classic Tour, Aug. 5

This driving tour offered 48 PCA members and guests in 25 cars one of the best and most enjoyable drives in the Baltimore area. The route consisted of scenic, twisty, undulating and varied back roads in northeastern Maryland, as well as in a small section of Pennsylvania's York County. There were many charming horse farms along the way. One participant said he saw 46 horses.

The 64-mile route started in Reisterstown and ended in Monkton, at the Manor Tavern, where 32 participants in 17 cars enjoyed a wonderful lunch. This was the sixth event in 2017 offered by the Tour & Rally Committee of the Porsche Club of America's Chesapeake Region. Busy as tour organizer and lead driver of the first of two groups of cars, I was not able to take pictures until we reached the Manor Tavern.
