New York International Auto Show Preview for Porsche Club Members -- March 30, 2018

On March 30, the day the 2018 New York International Auto Show was opened to the public, Porsche Cars North America entertained 200 Porsche Club of America members at an invitation-only preview of the Porsche exhibit. We were ushered into the show a little after 8:00 a.m., nearly 2 hours before the general public was allowed to enter.

Porsche provided breakfast for PCA members at the North American premiere of a new product: the 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 RS (991.2). Also featured at the show were the 2018 Porsche 911 Carrera T, the 2019 Porsche Cayenne and the 2018 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo.

I am pleased to share here the photos I took during and after the special Porsche preview. The time indicated in the metadata is Eastern Standard Time; I forgot to reset the camera's clock to Eastern Daylight Time, which was in effect on March 30, 2018. This was the first time I put my newest camera -- a Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II -- to serious use. It has proven to be a very good substitute for the long-awaited, stillborn and lamented Nikon DL 24-85.
