1985 Ferrari 308 GTSi QV,* owned by Michael Joseph Perilli (5141)

This Ferrari, serial no. 57685, was one of three 308s used in filming the "Magnum, P.I." TV series of the 1980s, starring Tom Selleck. This car and and its TV role broadened the general public's awareness of the Ferrari brand in the United States and elsewhere. To this day, it retains the distinction of being the most popular Ferrari ever, with more than 12,000 units sold between 1975 and 1985. It was succeeded by the more powerful 328. ... The "i" in this car's name refers to its fuel-injection system, an upgrade from the carburetors of earlier models. The "QV" means quattrovalvole or four valves per cylinder. This iteration of the 308 is one of the most desirable.
