America On Wheels Museum, Allentown, PA -- July 2009

The America On Wheels Museum opened in Allentown, Pennsylvania, in April 2008. I went there for the first time on July 11, 2009, primarily to view some classic automobiles from the Nicola Bulgari Collection; that temporary exhibit is the subject of a separate PBase gallery. The gallery you are viewing now features the other vehicles that I saw during my visit. Many were on loan and may be replaced from time to time. For more information, visit the museum's Web site at http://www.americaonwheels.org .

I shot the photos in this gallery with my handheld Nikon D300 and Nikkor 18-200mm VR zoom. All are straight-from-the-camera images with no post-processing applied, except for the 61st picture, which I darkened a bit. I did resize all of the photos for online viewing.
