Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance 6 -- American Classics, August 2009

American classic automobiles are featured here. This set is the sixth in my series of 11 galleries on the 2009 Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance, which was held on Aug. 2 in Rochester, Michigan. Over the years, the concours has subscribed to the Classic Car Club of America's definition of classics -- "fine and unusual motor cars built between 1925 and 1948 ... [and] distinguished by fine design, high engineering standards and superior workmanship."

More than 200 cars and motorcycles were entered in the concours in 3 classic and 22 other categories by collectors from all over the United States and Canada. For more information, visit the concours's Web site at http://www.meadowbrookconcours.org .
