Conocybe incarnata Carlton-in-Lindrick garden 4-4-2018

A rare species of Conocybe that turned up as a single in my garden in Carlton-in-Lindrick in a shady spot in mossy soil. Unusual for a Conocybe in its bright reddish coloration (they are nearly all variations of yellow to ochraceous), though microscopically similar to other Conocybes. This was determined by Michael Jordan of the FCT. Not more than 10 records on the national databases.
