back to the sixties

Aiden can't get enough of these books.
My favourite auntie used to leave one under our pillow
each time she went home after coming to stay with us.

Exactly the spirit of the sixties. She has also been the favourite author of mine those days. Remember the 'valley of adventures', which I read again and again, until it was only a collection of single leaves. Touching pic btw, and thanks for the memories. gmv

Good to see you and Mrs. N are raising them up right... This is a wonderful picture of the two of you.

Seems the boy is reading to you- ain't it supposed to be the other way around ;-)

Reading with the kids is the #1 thing to do.

I used to love famous five too when I was a kid - "Five Go to Smugglers' Top" was my
favourite. The absorbed look on Aiden's face says it all, and the state of that book
suggests he's not the first to have enjoyed this story.
