Dunnottar

We nipped down to Perth today,
away for a couple of days visiting.
Stopped here on the way,
Dunnottar Castle.
A snow shower was approaching as I took this,
blustery winds and snow all the way down after that.
Very exciting.

I keep going over your photos and find only one word for all your galleries. STUNNING. Such dramatic impact.
My wife comes from Aberdeen and we visited Dunnottar a couple of times. I have never seen such great shots. I love the way the grass is highlighted and the dampness on the path, as if leading you to who knows what.
You sure know your stuff.

Hey, cool. Like the foreground, too many Dunottar shots ignore that.

No kidding about the snow, it looked completely different the day after!

Fantastic!!! I would love to see it in person. Great composition and a bit mystical.--Rene

I wanted to go there but Niall refused to let me drive on the wrong side of the road ...LOL

Like the little path leading down.. the wet of the walkway

Absolutely stunning shot, Andy.

lovely golden light - looks fairly remote so I guess the castle inhabitants didn't get carol singers or trick-or-treaters when they lived there.

This is gorgeous. The light on the grass next to the path really is special. Still not enough lavender in the clouds for snow, says Ms. Meteorologist.

I love this! It has the look of an old fairy tale. The color is great. GMV!
