27th December 2005 east wind

Been into town,
the kids were wanting to spend their vouchers.
A bitterly cold easterly wind,
these gulls were hovering right above us,
waiting to pounce.
It was snowing as we came home.

Nice catch!

Are you sure it was snow and not some kind of "gift" from the gulls?

Excellent: the silhouettes and limited range of tones are wonderful (and threatening). (V)

I agree with Gilles, it sounds much better in French.

Quelle belle image, nuances dans le ciel, les oiseau, le découpage horizontale en "tones" framing
Bravo

The silhouettes are so sharp against that sky.

Ah, Winter is finally here then? Your image conveys the cold, and I like the silhouettes.

They need to be further away than that on approach ;-)

It was lovely at the beach today, although a little chilly... I would have been sitting in Pizza Hut at about that time... ;-) Nice shot...

Brilliant capture. Like that there are a lot more of them in the distance.
