8th December 2005 winter crispness

The frost began to lift
and the sun came out.
I wandered the grounds of Craigievar Castle,
Nobody else about.
The trees down below were still shrouded in mist and fog,
the sun barely peeked over the hill by mid-morning.

Fantastic light and pale colours in all the photos. In the big one I like the pale blue in the background among the trunks. Beautiful place, great talent.
