I've been doing a lot of driving this week.
I was running low on fuel yesterday,
and all the petrol stations were closed,
I missed the last one at ten pm at Grantown on Spey on the way home,
and the red light had come on.
So I drove as gently as I could for the next 50 miles.
554 miles from £35 of diesel before I managed to top up the tank.
That's nearly 60 miles per gallon.
Trusty old car. It has 189 000 miles on the clock now.
