The darkest hour

The darkest hour is just before dawn.
NS37,
Ivory Towah,
04.30 am
tired,
hungry,
mortgage,
three kids...
It's not all bad,
those final hours before end of shift.
The peace and quiet,
just me, the dawn and BBC news 24...

Cool SP. Your comments so true. We are alone in our own mind for sure. This shot works at my end. Vote.

I used to find the wee hours of the morning the most peaceful.. before children were up and spouses were in need of one thing or another. You look so intense..

As a former nightshifter...I know this look. You captured it very well. Love the commentary, too!

Good SP. Could be worse; you could have an aggravating colleague.

You have the drowsy look of a nightshifter. Just wait til my plane lands before nodding off, okay :>)

Wonderful portrait. I love you conveyed the mood in this picture of an early morning. I get up at four, and fall over everything in my way lol. Great shot. really impressed.

Very good SP. It is a little hard to be cheery at 4:30 a.m.

Excellent SP, what I see is the edginess just starting to wear away as you prepare for a relaxing weekend of frothy coffees and nipping about.
