7th September, perfect stillness

Looking down from the top
at the fields from where I took a picture of this Iron Age hill fort
a couple of days ago
A gorgeous day again, the air was so still,
not a sound to be heard...

Now that's what I call a landscape. Vote.

Beautiful! Well worth the climb indeed! Just wondering what will happen if you climb all this way up, and just to realize you forget to insert the SD card on your camera ...

Air crisp and clean. Yes, even in viewing your image one can feel the silence. Breathtaking.

With that amazing view it's no wonder they built their fort up there. Quite a walk to the bus stop though !! :>) Love those patchwork fields. So happy to see your finally getting some sunny weather before the season changes.

Looks all wrong to me. Where's the horizontal rain?
